Squier is your gateway to the Fender brand. Squier’s history with Fender goes as far back as the 50’s-60’s when Squier served as Fender’s go-to string manufacturers. After Fender’s purchase from CBS in the 80’s, the Squier name was repurposed to serve as Fender’s more affordable line. Initially starting production in Japan, Squier has since expanded its guitar production to China and Indonesia, and has continued to be your gateway to the Fender brand.
